I recently purchased a 2013 GMC Terrain from Oakley's. I had come across the vehicle while shopping online since I could not find what I was looking for anywhere local. I currently live in Sioux Falls, SD which means I had a "short" 8.5 hour road trip in front of me in order to get down there. Clearly I had a few concerns about purchasing a used vehicle so far away, and the logistics that it would involve. Scott Oakley was the salesman that I ended up working with, and he was absolutely amazing. Scott answered all of my many....many questions and was extraordinarily helpful in all regards. He got back to me very promptly when a new question came up, and was very thorough in all of his explanations. While trying to iron out all of the logistics in getting there, Scott was quick to offer any help he could in that regard. We were welcomed the minute we walked through the door. Scott Oakley was our salesperson. Questions were quickly answered and we were soon on the way to applying for our truck. We left for an appointment being told we would be called as soon as he got notice if we got the truck. Within minutes we were called and an appointment set up for later that evening. Everyone worked together when we came back. Scott was busy with other customers and instead of having to wait, another of the salesmen jmped right in and started paperwork. A few days after buying the "no warranty, as is" truck we had brakes making an awful noise. We called and asked about a problem this soon especially with an inspection certificate given to us on the date of sale. Scott immediately told us to take it to his brake and alignment garage and he made the appointment for us. We took it in, came back in a few hours and the truck was completely repaired. NO CHARGE. It was a great buying experience, one of the best we have had.

We were in search of a used Toyota Sequoia and another vehicle for my husband to drive, trading in his 2004 Toyota Solara in hopes to find two vehicles at one reliable car dealership. Thought what the heck, let's give this a shot....I called Oakley Auto World and spoke with Scott....Next thing I knew we were heading down to Branson West to trade one vehicle and get two...Met Scott and did our paperwork with Chris (which I might add is a fine business man too...thanks Chris)..I got my Sequoia, it is clean, runs great and looks brand new...My husband got a new Cadillac DeVille...Long story short, the Caddy ended up with a transmisson problem down the road and and took it into a transmission shop here in KC and the repair was going to be costly...We called Scott at Oakley Auto World to learn once again, what a wonderful, trustworthy, honest businessman he truly is: he offered to pay half on the repair, or trade out of the Caddy for another vehicle on the lot...at this point we opted for another vehicle, he met us in Springfield saving us 3 hours on our travel time, at 7:30 in the evening to make this trade.
